whether it’s a full-on gallery wall, or a stand-alone single frame i’m still enamored with really simple art. i think photography was my first love, so i’m always a sucker for a great portrait, and matisse is one of my favorite artists, so give me a simple line drawing or sketch any day of the week. and a collection of them paired together is quite lovely too. i really don’t think you can go wrong collecting art like this as there’s always a spot for it. i like hanging photography in unexpected places — like even a kitchen for example. and bathrooms are an excellent place to sneak in a unique piece of art or a strong graphic. here are a few inspiring looks for you to aspire to.
