dores

six months with this sweet gentle soul. i have grown just as much as him. together we have found a rhythm and life has become more routine. i understand him now in ways i never thought possible. the love i have for him makes my heart swell and scares me all at the same time.

i have loved focusing on being a mama these last 5 months, but i am looking forward to getting back to things this year. more blogging, more weaving, more creating...

so inspired by these woven clothes from Fin in a waste of waters.

i recently came across this photo on a street style blog and realized that it really captured a moment in time. it is probably the last photo of me right before i became pregnant. that seems like so long ago now as i sit and wait for my baby boy to greet the world any day now. i feel like i already know him, feeling his movements getting stronger for months now, but to hold him in my arms will truly be wonderful...

i am so in love with all my new jewelry from erin considine. she just updated her beautiful shop with her new spring pieces. you can see a couple of photos of me wearing them here and here.

beatrice venezuela's beautiful home tour on lmnop.

we stopped by sweet william in ny so i could by our baby boy (!!!) his first little pieces of clothing. the shop is so beautiful and i fell in love with everything from the tane organics line.

my trip to ny was all about having one last vacation before the baby is born and getting to spend the weekend visiting this dear friend. we spent four days together, shopping, eating and doing lots of talking. it was just what i needed! we also did a few studio visits and i was so excited to meet all the lovely and talented ladies behind ace & jig, dusen dusen and erin considine. you can see more photos on instagram.

i had the most amazing time in new york (more details soon), but it feels good to be home! excited to get back in the weaving studio today and finish up some projects.
